The Invisible Mentor Weekly Newsletter: Brain Food Fridays Number 62 – Tackle Your Pile of To-be-Read Books

Dear Reader,

Tackle Your Pile of To-Be-Read Pile of Books

If you’re like the typical person, you have a stack of unread books with the information needed to take your business to the next level. Over the next 10 days, challenge yourself to read three of those books and grab the information you need to solve business problems. Everyone encounters problems that need solving. I’ve talked about this before, but it’s worth repeating because it’s so important.

  1. Write down your one-sentence purpose for reading each book.
  2. Preview each book before you start to read it.
  3. Read the sections you flagged as important that needed further exploration.
  4. Take notes as you read.
  5. Review your notes a few times.
  6. Pick out the big ideas.
  7. Combine the big ideas to make them bigger and better.
  8. Implement the ideas to solve the problems.

If you need help, I have programs designed to help you. I’m here to serve you and I want you to be even more successful.
