🍁🥂5 Best Thanksgiving Drinks🍁🥂
|
If you’re looking for something unique to sip on Thanksgiving Day, I’ve got ideas for you! Whether you’re a vodka drinker, bourbon lover, mocktail maven or anything in between, there’s an idea for you here.
From the desk of The Speckled Palate’s Erin Parker
Howdy, Reader,
As we ease into Thanksgiving week, I wanted to send one final email with ideas for you.
And these final ideas are for fun mixers and cocktails you can make at home to serve to your people, if you’re into that kind of thing. I’ve also included a delicious mocktail for those of y’all who don’t drink. (Additionally, you can find all my mocktail ideas here.)
Now here are the ideas:
- Sparkling Ginger Cranberry Mocktail: This two-ingredient mocktail is delicious and easy to make at home! Calling for ginger beer (or ginger ale, if you want a lighter/sweeter sipper) and unsweetened cranberry juice, this nonalcoholic drink is colorful and tasty.
- Pumpkin Spice Mule: Pumpkin Spice lovers, unite! This mule gets its flavor from a homemade pumpkin spice syrup, ginger beer, vodka and lime. Make a pitcher to serve a crowd! Just be sure not to add the ginger beer until the last minute so it’s nice and bubbly.
- Sparkling Bourbon Pumpkin Apple Cider Punch: This is one of our family’s favorites because it combines so many flavors of the season. How could you not love pumpkin spiced apple cider paired with ginger, maple simple syrup and your favorite bourbon?
- Cranberry Sangria: If you want to make something ahead of time, this sangria can be made 24 hours in advance! Toss all the ingredients into your favorite pitcher and let them meld together in the fridge before serving cold. Pro tip: Make two pitchers if you’re serving a crowd because this always goes fast.
- Toasted Pecan Old Fashioned: If you want to make and serve this one on Thursday, you need to get it started today. This recipe requires infusing your own whiskey! It sounds complicated, but it’s actually quite simple. Then after it infuses for a few days, use the toasted pecan whiskey to make a fall-flavored Old Fashioned. YUM.
Are you serving a special drink alongside your feast on Thursday?
As always, happy (and responsible!) sipping!
