How to get testimonials from your clients in 30 seconds.

Every motion designer needs testimonials from their clients. In fact every single business owner should have testimonials.

If you haven’t worked with someone before you haven’t got their trust. People hire people they trust, so if you’re looking at two portfolio’s where one has testimonials and one doesn’t and the work is pretty similar you would probably hire the person that has testimonials from their previous clients right?

But getting testimonials is hard, it’s requiring our clients to go that extra step for us so we want to make it as easy as possible for them.

I recently found a tool I absolutely love! (this isn’t sponsored) This tool is called Tiny Testimonials.​

When you sign up you’re prompted to add one question:
” Ask ONE question that nudges people to share the impact your project has had on their lives.”

After that it asks you to provide 3 answers someone could choose:

In the final step you’re asked to provide Testimonial templates for each answer.

THIS is where the magic is.

By allowing the client to navigate to the most appropriate answer and then have them presented with various templates they can cycle through and adjust is great because it saves them time. But it also gives you the opportunity to guide them in the kind of responses you’re looking for.

It might take you longer than 30 seconds to set up. But it won’t take your client much time at all to give you a great testimonial.
