🗝️ Results From A Recent Update! (Part 3)

Last week I shared some of the ranking results of my post update. You can watch that and all my previous emails HERE!

Today, I am sharing more results as well as the BEFORE and after (that some of you asked for!)

I made a LOT of changes but I do think the title was a huge contributor to reaching a top spot! Because my old headers were not working, I wanted to try something different. I used more keywords in my h2s which seems to be working so I am going to leave it. Remember, it’s all about trial and error!

As of today, here is my traffic increase LAST WEEK vs. the same week last year.

GA has this post at a 119% increase compared to last year.

You can see the ORANGE line above which shows my ranking. The green percentage increases are also super motivating!

What is REALLY interesting is the TIME ON PAGE metric Clariti gives. I updated the photos which I believe was a huge factor to increasing the time users spent on the page. Especially with recipes!

So since Keysearch says the keyword “dessert empanadas” has a volume of about 1300 but there are some other keyword variations I am ranking high for so according to this data, I can expect around 1k visits to this post each month which is more than double what I was getting before.

So all in all, I think it’s a win!! 🙂 I just hope it STAYS there. If not, user intent, keywords, or the recipe will need to be re-evaluated.
