BFW: Using Your Knowledge to Become a Thought Leader

Dear Reader,

Hey there, Brain Food Wednesday subscribers,

Welcome back to your weekly dose of mental nutrition, issue 240th! Today we’re diving into using knowledge to develop thought leadership.

Most people want to develop thought leadership, so they become known as an authority on a topic. This allows you to command higher fees. Becoming a thought leader is not about acquiring knowledge on a topic. It’s so much more. How do you synthesize the knowledge so you can show your thought leadership?

I’ve been promoting my Applied Knowledge is Power: Reading Strategically to Get Knowledge Faster workshop. However, people are seeing it as a reading workshop when it’s so much more. You’ll learn how to use knowledge to become a thought leader. To lay a sound foundation for a topic of interest, there are five types of books you must read. You’ll learn what those five books are.

But you’ll also learn how to synthesize the information from the five books so you can use it. Application of knowledge is important because it enables you to understand the information and shows you gaps in your knowledge.

My goal is to help you read strategically so you can:

  • Master Strategic Reading: Learn to select and read key books for deep, actionable insights.
  • Knowledge Development: Position yourself as an expert in your field.
  • Enhance Leadership Skills: Apply focused knowledge to solve business problems.
  • Maximize Expertise: Use the Invisible Mentor Learning System to build expertise to serve your clients.

What’s in it for you?

  • Unlock new value for your organization.
  • Focus on the 20% that delivers 80% of the value.
  • Select books aligned with your goals.
  • Maximize your reading investment and engage in advanced problem-solving.
  • Synthesize information to develop thought leadership.

I invite you to join me for Applied Knowledge is Power: Reading Strategically to Get Knowledge Faster on September 13th and 20th. Develop your thought leadership.

Warm regards,

Avil Beckford
