Hello fellow course creators, 👋🏻

I want to thank you all for joining me on this “December of #DesignForward” journey! From my daily posts to now wrapping up with weekly newsletters, it’s been awesome to have the space to tap into my creativity and streamline my process.

Experimenting with AI for Creative Course Content

You may have noticed me playing around with ChatGPT the past couple weeks (months really) to create descriptive posts about welcoming and orienting new course participants. 🤖✨ If you look back from Monday through next week when I publish the last in that sequence, you’ll see how the narratives become more focused and the AI-generated images get more creative.

This is all thanks to me documenting my process of using these tools and the months experimenting with strategies where I’ve figured out how to get them to write in a way that sounds like me rather than generic machine language. 💡 I’ll be sharing what I’ve learned in some upcoming resources and webinars, so stay tuned!

Advancing Course Experience Design

On the course experience design front, I’ve been laser focused on that crucial welcome and onboarding stage that sets the tone. 🎉🚀 As a result, I’m also developing resources to help you audit your course pre-launch and take your participant experience to the next level.

Here again, my AI tool process has been so valuable in helping me streamline this (even when ChatGPT throws me those annoying hard stops that interrupt my flow! 😅 See my 12/22 LinkedIn post for more on that).

Holiday Time & Course Dev Plans

As we look ahead to the holidays next week, I’m excited to take a bit of a hiatus from emails and meetings. 🎄✨ Like my academic days, I can’t wait to fully immerse myself in my creative process as I build out the course I’m teaching this spring on creativity.

I’ll also be launching 2-3 resources/courses to help you kickstart 2024 with a focus on elevating your users’ journey. 🙌🏻🚀
